There’s been a lot of buzz around this place lately and we decided to give it a try since we were in the Barsha area and in the mood for momos.
I had the traditional Buff momos. The momo was just about average, the dipping sauce that came along with it wasn’t too great either. It just didn’t complement the morning momo at all.
We also tried the Chips Oman maki roll. This was definitely an innovative dish and the owners definitely deserve credit for taking something like sushi and flipping it on its head to create options that are more friendly towards vegetarians who otherwise wouldn’t normally try traditional sushi.
And I guess that’s really what this place is about. Sushi for people who don’t really like or wouldn’t try traditional sushi.
Having said that they do serve traditional sushi, sashimi and nigiri as well. But I didn’t give it a go here. Just a personal choice.
